Pittsburgh Chapter

         Welcome to the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild page. Our chapter is comprised of piano tuners/technicians from northern West Virginia, southeastern Ohio, and southwestern Pennsylvania (reaching as far north as Oil City and east as Latrobe). From September to June, guild meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, at 7:00 PM, featuring a technical presentation by one of the members.

         The Piano Technicians Guild is an association of piano technicians which encourages and supports a high quality standards in piano tuning and maintenance.  The Pittsburgh chapter is presently composed of  41 members; 21 of which are Registered Piano Technicians (a designation given to those who pass thorough exams on knowledge and skills to perform normal piano service and repair), 3 are Chapter Sustaining members (retired professionals), and 17 are Associates.
